SweepPress
Lite vs. Pro
SweepPress Pro edition contains various features exclusive to the Pro edition only. The plugin’s lite (free) edition is completely fine for most use cases, and most users will not need to update to the Pro edition. But, if you need more options and some special features, you should consider a Pro edition upgrade.
Database Overview
Shows all tables in the database related to the current WordPress installation. It includes detected tables source (WordPress or plugins), database engine, number of rows, size of table with the free space and index size, auto increment, created and updated dates and collation. Plugin detection is based on the predefined list of plugins and tables they create, and this will be expanded in the future. From this panel you have options to Optimize and Repair tables if needed.
Sweeper Monitor
The monitor feature allows you to have daily and weekly to monitor tasks that will check if your website needs sweeping. For both daily and weekly monitoring, you can set the detection threshold: a minimal number of records or minimal database size (in percentage), and if the threshold is reached, an email notification is sent, reminding you to visit the SweepPress panel and run Sweeper.
Job Scheduling
Easily create one or more jobs containing a selection of sweepers (and, optionally, specific tasks within each sweeper) and set the method for the job activation. This can be scheduled to run once or periodically or set a job as inactive. You need to pick the schedule and set the start date and time for scheduled jobs.
A list of jobs allows you to see the quick stats from the last time job was run, information about the schedule and when it is going to run next, and you can also get the full report for the last job run. Very importantly, you can run any sweeping job any time you want, just simply using the Run button for each listed job.
CRON Control
WordPress CRON System is essential to provide many WordPress and plugin features, but controlling it is very problematic. SweepPress Pro gives you control over CRON and can track each scheduled CRON job for the purpose of identification; you can remove and run jobs from the panel.
WP-CLI Command also contains a subcommand for listing register CRON jobs.
Gravity Forms Support
The plugin has new sweepers for Gravity Forms plugin that are exclusive to the Pro version only. For now, there are three sweepers included: for the removal of trashed forms, for the removal of Spam entries, and the removal of Trash entries. Both include support for sweeping entries related to individual forms and for setting the number of days to keep entries before deleting.
The Log File
Log every sweeper execution into a log file (including the sweeper execution mode and simulation status, if enabled), and include all sweeper/removal SQL queries executed by each used sweeper.
