Local @font-face Fonts

Google Fonts, Adobe Typekit Fonts, and Adobe Edge Web Fonts are online hosted services, but if you want to use fonts that you want to serve from your own server, you can upload fonts in @font-face format that can have single weight or multi variants available. The plugin allows you to upload ZIP archives, or you can use FTP to upload fonts manually.

You need to prepare fonts for use on the web, and there are online services for that.
