Gettings started with the polls
A new poll can be created by any user with the user role allowed for poll creation through plugin settings. Only registered and logged-in users can create new polls. When creating a poll, the user needs to add a poll question and the list of responses. The description is optional, but useful if you need to closer explain the question. Additional options include a number of allowed responses voters can choose, option to control poll closing, and more.
Once the poll is created and active, it will appear on the top of the topic page. Based on the current user status, it will show notices if the user can’t vote, notices about logging in, and other things. If the user is allowed to vote, the poll voting form will look like this image.
Based on the poll settings, different options will be available in the form footer area. Once the user has voted, or if user chooses to see results only, poll results are presented with multi-coloured bars, votes counts and percentages.
