Plugin is based on the addons architecture. Each addon can be disabled to lower used memory and server resources, and it makes it easier to later add new features or maintain existing addon based features.
Plugin is made with multisite in mind, and all features are tested with WordPress Multisite Mode. There are many multisite specific features including Overload mode for mass control over individual network blogs.
To send information about events, plugin features notifications system. Currently, this system is used to send daily and weekly digest emails with overview of daily and weekly events logged, grouped by event.
GD Press Tools Pro includes powerful debugger that will help you identify potential performance issues with your website, get quick overview of the content, server status, templates loading, WordPress core, enqueued files and more. Debugger also catches all the PHP error, deprecated warnings and more and organize them into panels for fast review. Also, it can log all errors into database for later analysis.
Debugger panel is hidden behind the green bug button (it can be in toolbar, or floating on the page), and when opened, it is fully responsive allowing you to use debugger on mobile devices too.
When it comes to your website, it is very important to have current backups to make sure that even if something goes wrong, you have your data safe. Plugin allows you to create backup tasks, upload backups to FTP of your choice, to your Dropbox or Amazon S3 storage. And, you can schedule backup tasks to run automatically, send you notifications and store information in the database.
Plugin has two backup engines, one is for small backups, and the other one for large websites running backup in threads to avoid issues with timeouts or lack of memory.
