This is a very useful feature allowing your forum users to help with moderating forums by reporting inappropriate content (spam, harassment, rude language).

Report Settings

Settings the report feature is very simple, and it doesn’t involve any complicated settings. You can choose where to display Report button, and which user roles can send reports. Each user can send one report for each topic and reply.

Since plugin version 4.5, the plugin allows you to use Report without the form, and click on the Report button sends the report (with or without confirmation dialog) without adding the reason.

Email Notifications

Once the report is sent, the plugin can send email notifications to keymasters and moderators. Notifications settings allow you to set content and subject for the email. Notifications are sent as soon as the report is filed.

Report form

The image on the left shows the report topic/reply form. It is a simple form with an input element where the user can enter why he thinks the topic or reply should be reported (to be deleted or edited).

To manage all reported, plugin includes the list of reports on the admin side. This is a simple list showing all reports with some basic statuses. This list can’t be used to moderate reports, but once you finish working on the report, you can change the report status to closed. If you delete topic or reply, it will be automatically marked as deleted.
