Live Demos on Dev4Press blog
Check out the live demo pages related to the Dev4Press blog, using date based archives index, and three pages for 3 different taxonomies.
Dev4Press Blog only has one author, so author based index is pointless, but the dates based index is quite long, starting way back in 2009.
Dev4Press blog uses custom taxonomies (even Category is custom taxonomy replacing default one), for Categories, Products and Topics. Each one is using slightly different customization settings and different colors.
The plugin doesn’t add any administration panels into WordPress, all settings are attributes for 3 available shortcodes.
To learn more about each shortcode currently available and see what attributes you can configure, make sure to check out the plugin knowledge base.
Each shortcode allows you to specify the post type to run index calculation, and with each shortcode having some additional specialized attributes. Each shortcode comes with Compact and Basic layouts dealing with the way the index items are rendered, and each shortcode allows you to specify colors, font size, and line height.
